🐣 Our Chicken Hatching Adventure Has Begun! 🐣
Mrs. Caldwell's 5th graders are excited to watch their eggs develop and hatch right in the classroom! We want to share this experience with the entire Taylor White Family!

🍎🍏 Happy Johnny Appleseed Day from Mrs. Field's class! 🍏🍎
Mrs. Fields’ Kindergarten Class had an APPLE-icious Day. First, they read a story about Johnny Appleseed. Next, we made a hat like Johnny had. Then, we measured how many apples tall we were. After lunch, we tasted 3 apples. We got to choose our favorite color apple. We made a graph and talked about most and least. After PE, we enjoyed Apple pie in a cup! They couldn’t believe you can make an apple pie that wasn’t cooked in an oven. Finally, after music they came in to an apple snack of AppleJacks and Apple Juice! They said it was the best day ever. Learning can be so much fun!

Our little learners had an "apple-solutely" amazing time celebrating last Friday with plenty of hands-on learning, math, and sweet treats!
Here is a peek into our busy day of apple adventures:
📏 Measuring up: We practiced our math skills by putting on our scientist hats and measuring our height in apples!
🥧 Apple Pie in a Cup: Learning has never tasted so sweet! We practiced following multi-step recipes, sequencing, and fine motor skills by assembling our very own delicious apple pies in a cup.
📊 Graphing Favorites: After conducting a taste test of different varieties, we voted and created a classroom picture graph to display our ultimate favorites. (Ask your student if red, green, or yellow won the crown!)
